About the hosts
‘The PC Hub’ is a new service offered in Port Macquarie, launching January 2023. The hub was established by Ben Dobson, the owner of withit IT, who has provided IT solutions and support to home and business users since 2002.
Ben is well-known for his commitment to providing exceptional services and for his down to earth, approachable nature. He is passionate about retro and modern PC games and building gaming PCs, and loves sharing his knowledge with others. This led to the launch of ‘The PC Hub’ which currently offers programs for individuals, small and large groups, the general public and those with special needs.
His wife, Danielle Dobson, has previously worked as a consultant in strengths-based assessment, coaching and training for adults, and as a Teacher at TAFE NSW.
She is passionate about helping people better understand themselves and their unique qualities, as well as provide guidance on using these qualities to thrive in life, personally and professionally.
This unique combination of Ben and Danielle’s skills and experience has led to the development of interest-led programs that integrate both hard and soft skills training. Each program is unique and is customized to each group or client's specific needs. This approach has proven to be very successful in growing clients’ confidence, capability and connection with others.

Reviews
Ben helped our son set up his own gaming PC. He helped him through the whole process from sourcing parts to putting it all together and getting it up and running. Ben was incredibly patient and helped Isaac to feel that he had ownership over the whole process. It was such an awesome experience! Ben is a great mentor, teacher, and role model for our young people. Isaac will always treasure the experience, and the skills he learned will continue to be of benefit in the years to come. Also the relationship he formed with Ben has had an ongoing impact. Can’t recommend Ben more highly. - Bec D. PMQ
We had such a great experience with Ben when he helped my 15 year old son set up his gaming computer. He talked through options and listened to my son's ideas, gave great reasons for what he recommended. All the parts sourced were reasonably priced. Ben then patiently walked through the install process, explaining how it all works and now my son has great confidence about what's in his machine and even has ideas for future improvements (but first to save money). I would highly recommend Ben for any computer build, he listens to the requirements and budget and works out the best option to suit your needs. Ben is great with kids and teens, patiently answering any questions, and bringing them along the journey. Our family had a wonderful experience when Ben was sorting out our computing needs. Highly recommended!!! - Jay E. PMQ
